Jeremiah 9:4-5

4 ^aLet everyone beware of his neighbor,
and put no trust in any brother,
for every ^bbrother is a deceiver,
and every neighbor ^cgoes about as a slanderer.
5 Everyone deceives his neighbor,
and no one speaks the truth;
they have taught their tongue to speak lies;
they weary themselves committing iniquity.

Micah 7:5-6

5 ^dPut no trust in a neighbor;
have no confidence in a friend;
guard ^ethe doors of your mouth

6 for ^gthe son treats the father with contempt,
the daughter rises up against her mother,
